Executive Letter: Summer 2019
It has been a momentous year for CNAA. Heading into summer 2018 we are no longer a California-only organization. With added memberships from schools from five additional states—Arizona, North Carolina, Illinois, Washington and Nevada—CNAA is proud to be a national resource for athletic administrators representing Catholic schools across the United States.
With more states comes more knowledge and more connections for everyone who is a part of CNAA. We’ve had more inquiries from schools across the country than ever before and we need you to help us continue to spread the word. Our goal is for every member to bring a new member to CNAA this year.
That being said, it is time to renew your membership for the 2018-2019 school year. Joining is your chance to become part of the voice of Catholic athletics through CNAA as we enrich and grow Catholic School athletic programs.
As a member you’ll continue to get access to exclusive member deals, helpful information curated specially for Catholic school athletic departments and access to member-exclusive events that help athletic directors, coaches and other athletic administrators build their professional networks while learning how to succeed in Catholic school sports.
Membership funds go to growing CNAA, improving infrastructure and creating the events and partnerships that benefit members. We’re raising capital to make this organization the best it can be with quality member-only exclusives. It’s impossible to put a price on all that we do for you, for your schools and, mostly, for your students.
Many schools have saved tens of thousands of dollars by taking advantage of vendor exclusives and we’re adding new partners all the time. We have secured the following founding partners who have committed to multi year agreements – Astrotruf, E-team, East Bay, Brock, Repu. Several other vendors have committed to being a part of CNAA as well and we are in the process of securing them.
In April CNAA held a members social with drinks and assorted appetizers in Burlingame at the California State Athletic Director conference.. There was athletic staff from more than 25 California schools in attendance.
We are looking forward to replicating that success at our upcoming January 2019 retreat. We hope to have a summer retreat, as well.
